As we approach this thoughtful place, SIDE A's rhythmic "Surface" and ambient "Aquatic" mixes set the mood for slime-covered contemplation. Taking position on a concrete ledge far above the water, SIDE B's "How Are Things With You?" recalls the recent heartache, the impact of one single event on our overall attitude towards life. As the sun finally peaks from behind the clouds, closer "Substance" is our last chance at optimism... a final reminder that happiness, however distant, is ultimately within reach.
